The Office of the Public Guardian and the Royal National Institute for the Deaf have recently produced a DVD which is a BSL (British Sign Language) version of the “easy to read ” summary booklet regarding the Mental Capacity Act .
The DVD explains the principles of the Mental Capacity Act and the opportunities available for people to take as much part as possible in decisions that affect them
The resource will be useful for people who are BSL users, their families, formal carers and advocates.
